I thought I was pretty lucky when I stumbled upon a BCBG Max Azria sample sale in January at their Heartland Town Centre location in Mississauga. WTH? Designer wear for insanely low prices? I couldn’t believe the savings – or the chaos!

Now being pregnant at the time, I sadly skipped over the racks and racks of designer dresses (sniff) and instead concentrated on their accessories – snagging a gorgeous inky purple leather bag (reg. $398) for $39, and a pair of silver platform sandals (reg. $225, pictured above) for just $29! Last year, on February 16th, I introduced my readers to my latest obsession: the Coach Penelope shopper in Lilac. I’m minding my own business this morning, just blogging away, when the familiar inbox notification doo-dooh’s at me. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see that Coach is trying to tempt me with more of their impressive leather goods. The title of the message is “New Year. New Wallet.” Bah.
