When rooting through my jewelry stash, I’m amazed at what I’ve accumulated over the years. Chunky bracelets, fine diamonds, and heaps of sterling silver necklaces. But I always return to – regardless of the occasion – my personalized pieces; the ones that tell the story of ME.
Luxe Design is all about YOU. The Luxe Design MAKE IT YOUR OWN line of jewelry lets you create your own personalized, meaningful jewelry by adding words, names or personal sayings to a unique selection of customizable charms. You can then select your own ideal length and style of chain, choose from meaningful and symbolic charms, and add color with gemstone beads.
The designers, Joanne Hart and Andrea Mueller, met while students in the Jewellery Art and Design program at Vancouver Community College. Upon graduation, the pair started Luxe Design in August of 1995. The line incorporates the highest quality findings, metals and stones. Each piece is hand stamped and assembled to order in their studio in the heart of Vancouver, BC.
The possibilities are endless. Choose from a vast selection of customizable charms, and you’re already halfway to finding the perfect present for hard-to-shop-for family and friends. There is literally something for everyone; from Zodiac charms to symbols such as music notes, hearts, pets and more. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you can also shop Luxe Design’s Ready to Wear section, where you’ll find delicious little pairings of charms, gemstones and symbols.
I’m loving Luxe’s new lowercase letters as they’re a statement piece with a little something special – the letters are customizable as well. I think “R”s for Ryder and Reid, with their birth dates, would be absolutely precious! Alas, another item to add to my growing “must have” list :) For newlyweds, new moms, or even new big sisters… what a wonderful present indeed!
