Everyone Needs Ziploc Bags, Right?

Sure we do! And, if you’ve got a No Frills grocery store close by, you can get them for… FREE!

This week, the No Frills Ontario flyer advertises Ziploc sandwich bags (100′s) and freezer bags (15′s and 20′s) for just $2 – a savings of $1.67 off their regular price.

(It’s also their $1, $2, $3 Sale – they’re got some awesome name brands on sale for cheeeap!)

Visit Right at Home and you’ll find a coupon for $4 off when you buy any two (2) Ziploc brand products… making the bags absolutely free. To access the coupon, you’ll need to create a free profile and be connected to a printer.

Now there has been some concern about No Frills not accepting printed coupons, but I did some research and made a few calls. You should know:

It is No Frills policy to accept manufacturer’s coupons, including those printed on the Internet. However, from time to time, a location is hit with an influx of fraudulent coupons (easy to fake if they’re printed from a computer) and will temporarily disallow Internet coupons for a specific product. BUT, No Frills cannot turn away a printed coupon for a product that is not currently under scrutiny.

I received this information from the No Frills Customer Service line this morning. The rep then transferred me to my local store so that I could confirm the location was accepting Ziploc printed coupons – I was told they were. I took down the name of the person I spoke to and printed 5 coupons :) That’s 10 bags free for me!

I know it seems like a lot of effort for plastic bags, but I went through the extra steps so that I could blog this deal with peace of mind that readers should not be turned away for redeeming the coupon. Don’t forget: if your local No Frills is sold out, you can grab a flyer and price match the deal (and use the coupons) at Wal-Mart.

Joe Fresh: Save $10 off $50

Love, Love, LOVE this coupon!

From March 4th – 25th, save $10 when you spend a minimum of $50 on Joe Fresh apparel. They’ve got a HUGE selection of kid’s clearance clothing right now (I’ve seen sleepers for $3, long sleeved tees for $4 and pants for $8) so you can stock up for next year at insanely low prices. I grabbed TEN pieces for the kids for about $40 (sales + my coupon)… regular cost would have been over $120!

And for the ladies – their Spring selection is HOT! If I didn’t already have a bangin’ trench, I’d be buying that one…

FREE Mars Chocolate Bar: RAOC!

Reader Ellie performed a Random Act of Chocolate (ROAC) by letting me know this freebie was back!

You must order at least 2 coupons at a time from save.ca, so find another fab coupon and you’re good to go! Click here to request your coupons.

Urban Barn: $15 off $50 Coupon

It’s no secret that I LOVE Urban Barn! It’s considered one of those “Danger Zone” stores for me… I basically have to leave my wallet in the car, or damage will most assuredly be done.

Reader Pam gave me the heads up on a sweet little coupon – when you sign up for Urban Barn’s mailing list, they’ll send you a e-mail offer for $15 off purchases of $50 or more. Score! I’ve had my eye on this Lucent Round Damask Mirror – regularly $80, it’s marked down to just $19. Oh, I don’t think I’ll have a problem bumping up my cart total to $50 :)

Old Navy: Save 30% On One Item

If you’re thinking of visiting Old Navy in-store before February 27th, be sure to click, print and present the coupon above. You’ll save 30% on one single item (excluding clearance), and with the Kids & Baby sale in its final days (ends Thursday) perhaps this is a good time to grab a cute outfit for less. Coupon valid in Canada and US.

Well.ca: $10 off Purchases of $40

Thanks to reader Amelia for sending me this deal!

Until February 1st, save $10 off purchases of $40 or more at Well.ca with coupon code WELLKIT. Well.ca offers FREE shipping on every order within Canada, and you can purchase tons of hard-to-find items from the comfort of your own home (including the cult-favourite Salon Selectives brand).

I’m loving all their GREEN and ECO-FRIENDLY products! From baby to cleaning goods, Well.ca has really increased the amount of environmentally conscious items for sale.

BBW: 50% off Hand Soap w/ Old Packaging

So this isn’t exactly news – as the deal has been on for some time – but here’s a way to make it sweeter: Bath & Body Works currently has all hand soap (with older bottle design) on for 50% off. Most of your favourite scents are available, so if you don’t care that the packaging is slightly different, go stock up on soap for just $2.75 per bottle.

But only buy one (1). Why? Because for a limited time, with any purchase at B&BW, your receipt will offer you the chance to grab $10 off your next purchase of $30 or more when you complete a quick telephone survey (I recommend doing this just outside the store on your mobile phone). Jot down the reference code and then go on a hand soap shopping spree! You’ll be able to purchase 11 soaps for $20.25 – or just $1.84 each. Considering the new generation soaps are $5.50 each (with negligible changes in the design) you can stock up for less!

Some of the fragrances I saw at the Erin Mills Town Centre store include: Sea Island Cotton, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Kitchen Lemon, Rainkissed Leaves, Coconut Lime Verbana, Tropical Passionfruit, Moonlit Path, Fresh Pineapple – and many more! Gel, cream and foaming varieties are available.

Of course, if you don’t need a vanity full of soap, you can grab anything else that tickles your fancy with the $10 off. Happy shopping!

GAP: 25% off “New” Merchandise (Online)

I placed “new” in quotation marks above… because boy oh boy do I have a sale for you!

GAP’s sale section is chock full of heavily discounted clothes – discounted even further than they were on Boxing Day. So when the coupon code for 25% off NEW merchandise came through this morning, I proceeded to ignore it. But then I thought – why not test it out on sale goodies?

So I placed the Flint Gray Puffer Jacket I had my eye on (what is it with me and jackets?), which is currently on sale for just $39.97 down from $148.00. Now it’s a great deal on it’s own, but you know me – not worth the purchase unless I can squeeze out a few extra sale $$$.

So I applied the code GAPNEW25 and success! It works on sale items as well! So I scored the jacket for a sweet $29.98!!! That’s a savings of $118.02!

I just tested the coupon again and it works on sale stock as of 9:00am 9:30am 10:00am Monday. Hurry! Lots of deals to be had!

Beauty Steals!

I’m just about to wrap up The Holiday Beauty Fest… ooh makeup, how I love thee!

Today I hit the mall for the first time since Christmas (online only Boxing Day shopping this year) and decided to engineer a pretty sweet deal: The Body Shop Groupon + The Body Shop Boxing Week sales.

TBS’ current promotion is to donate $5 to the Somaly Mam Foundation (Stop Sex Trafficking of Children & Young People) and you’ll receive 30% off your entire order (excluding gift baskets). When combined with their already discounted holiday/best sellers, plus the $40 Groupon, it’s a pretty fabulous deal.

Here’s my haul:

Somaly Mam Foundation Donation: $5.00
Banana Shampoo $2.10
Banana Conditioner $2.10
Strawberry Puree Lotion $3.50
Satsuma Puree Lotion $3.50
Strawberry Body Butter $3.50
Glitter Dust x 3 Shades $7.00
Jolly Orange Shower Gel $4.20
Spiced Vanilla Lip Balm $2.80
Cucumber Toner $2.10

After taxes, minus the Groupon, I had to put in a whopping $0.45 (making my total investment $20.45). Score! If you’ve still got your Body Shop Groupon this would be a lovely time to spend it!

Some other pretty fabulous beauty steals:

Balmshell: Take 40% off your ENTIRE ORDER with code BOXING40. Plus, free shipping on orders of $75 or more! I’m tempted to grab a bunch of stocking stuffers for next year, ha ha!

Sephora: It’s the sale on sale – get an extra 20% off all sale items with code EXTRA. Hurry! Ends Saturday.

LUSH Cosmetics: Buy any Gift and get one FREE!

H2O Plus: Save up to 60% off with their Holiday Clearance sale. A must for travel – their Bath Basics Shower Gel Favorites down to just $9 for a mini pack of 6.

Happy Shopping!

Old Navy: Save 30% on One Item

Cold weather got you feeling down? Go grab a warm, cozy piece at Old Navy – from November 28th to December 3rd, you can save 30% on any single item (excluding performance fleece tops). The coupon can be used once per transaction, and is valid on sale items. Simply click, print and present the coupon below. Happy Shopping!

Whooga Ugg Boots – It’s The Real Deal!

I am SO over Facebook “Likes”, button ads and other flashing links telling me I can win a free pair of Ugg boots – only to find the giveaways (and many times the boots) are far from legit.

So I’m pretty excited to find an awesome site which is the real deal – Whooga Ugg Boots – which offers the highest quality of products, plus they draw for FREE boots at the end of each month!

A bit about the company - Whooga ugg boots warm your toes faster with lavishly thick thermofleece. Each pair of boots features luscious twin faced merino fleece, is double stitched for durability, shapes to the natural contours of your feet and is backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

To enter, simply sign up to receive their email newsletter – it’s that easy!

I browsed through the site and am loving the Classic Tall boots. Can you believe that I don’t own a pair of Uggs? I know, it’s tragic. Perhaps this is the year I join the ranks of Whooga fans everywhere…

Shipping is a flat $15 USD and duties are covered. If you can’t wait to try your luck, you can also grab a sweet 10% off your order with coupon code 834LISTEN (valid until 10/17).

Surfacecollective: 50% off Wall Tattoos

My good friend Anna over at BargainMoose let me know about this neat little coupon - 50% off at Surfacecollective!

I LOVE wall tattoos. They’re quite simply the perfect way to add oomph to a room without fussing with paint or wallpaper. And with coupon code BMOOSE50, you can save 50% off until November 2nd, 2010.

Click here to view full details.

I’m quite loving the “Hoo?” design pictured above… already on sale for $79.00, it’s a cool $39.50 after adding the coupon. Bonus – you can customize the colours of the tattoo, so you’ll always find the perfect compliment to your decor!

Blockbuster: Free “Favourites” Movie Rental

I’m not going to lie. I haven’t set foot in Blockbuster since… oh, before Ryder was born? Pre-2007? Dunno. But’s it’s been a loooong time.

And I’ve survived. Between Rogers On Demand, online streaming and a few “special edition” new releases from Chinatown (not that I endorse that kind of thing), I just haven’t felt the need to visit the dethroned rental giant.

But lately, hubby has been obsessed with finding the scariest horror movie of all time (he really gets into the Halloween spirit). This will help:

On October 31st and November 1st, Blockbuster is offering a FREE “Favourites” 7-night movie rental when you print and present this coupon.

He did the mash… He did the monster mash… The monster mash!
