Fisher-Price: Apptivity Case is Apptually Awesome

November 12, 2011

File this under “What will they think of next.”

Well, being Fisher-Price, I guess staying one step ahead is just what they do, no?

Introducing the Apptivity Case, designed especially for mothers who are iPhone & iPod touch users. It’s an awesome little accessory that is designed to shield your precious device (um, the phone – not your baby) from junior’s dribbles, drools and sticky fingers.

(Side note – I know I signed up for sticky fingers when I became a mom, but Lord-in-Heaven I had no idea just how sticky they could be – and how often. Next to poopy adventures, I am quite disgusted by the whole sticky finger phenomena. Yuck.)

Moving on… it’s quite simple to use: simply lock your  device inside the case, et voila! Kiddies can bang, throw and whack their siblings without damaging your phone (though we do not in any way, shape or form endorse the whacking of siblings – that’s simply an observation from my toddler’s experience with the case).

Additionally, you’ll get three (3) new, FREE Fisher-Price Apps which – if you’re cool introducing your child to Apps between the ages of 6-36 months – will keep them entertained, engaged and help them practice hand-eye coordination.

With the holidays just around the corner,  think about your friends who have newborns or small toddlers. Chances are, if the young’uns haven’t discovered the ol’ iPhone yet, it’ll be any day now. Be a pal and place the Fisher-Price Apptivity Case ($19.99) under their tree.
