This item was made for the Stocking Stuffer Series. It’s a personalized stocking! Until November 18th, they’re just $19.97, and you’ll even receive a bonus Christmas-themed flashlight while quantities last (I suppose to catch old St. Nick coming down the fireplace). Click here for more details.

There are quite a few items on promotion at the moment – do take a look!

SSS: Boo Boo Bling

Folks – it’s once again time for the Stocking Stuffer Series!

For the girl who has everything… something tells me she doesn’t have Boo Boo Bling. How snazz! I don’t know any 12 year old (or 32 year old) who could resist these haute little bandages.

What it is:
A set of bling for beautiful boo boos.

What it does:
Cover skin blemishes, scars, tattoos, and ugly boos with bling! Use the enclosed bandages to cover the desired area as you would with any other adhesive bandage. Then gently remove the matching Boo Boo Bling from the sheet and stick it on top of the bandage. The center of the jewels aligns with the bandage pad for easy application.

LOVES them! The bling is $8 ($6 US) for a set of 7 bandages, and is available at Sephora as part of their 2010 Holiday Collection. I want I want I want….

SSS: Zellers Mid-Week Mania!

Who can say no to a mid-week mania sale? And, quite a few Stocking Stuffer Series-worthy deals!

Just peeked at the Zellers flyer and I’m liking what I see. Valid October 27th to 31st, here are some of sales that tickle my fancy:

Get Sorted 5-Drawer Cart (reg $39.99) or Underbed Storage Box w/ Wheels (reg $29.99) for just $9.99. We’re nearing the end of 2010 – don’t even think of welcoming 2011 surrounded by junk. Purge, de-clutter, and  GET SORTED. The 5-drawer cart is perfect for all those sundries that add up – new bottles of shampoo, body lotions, etc… or if you’re like me, the 8 Olay Body Washes purchased on sale from Walmart ($2.99 – $3.00 off coupons = FREE for me!)

Hot Wheels Cars (reg $1.34) for just $0.67. Ryder is ADDICTED to Hot Wheels. He has over 30 and still cries for more. He even has names for them – black car, orange car, red van, lello (read: yellow) car, and so on. We were out and about the other day when a salesperson leaned over and said, “That’s a really cool Porsche!” To which Ryder replied, “No Poosh, BLACK car.” Well, he certainly told him. At $0.67 each, I will be stuffing Ryder’s stocking until it bursts :)

T-FAL 9-Piece Non-Stick Cookware (reg $299.99) for just $79.99. Okay, that’s a savings of $220. Can you say housewarming present??? You even get a bonus spatula and spoon set. If you know someone who’s recently moved out on their own (college kids come to mind), this would be a great little set to encourage ‘em to cook at home. T-FAL frying pans are great – even heat distribution and a handy little indicator spot. It’s not Calphalon, but it will do. (I have a feeling this item will sell out quickly, so do pop by soon if you’re interested.)

Disney Sparkle Princess Dolls (reg $14.99) are 50% off – just $7.49 each. A wonderful stocking stuffer for the little princesses on your list. Feeling generous? Grab a few and donate to a toy drive. Needy children love Barbie dolls too! For under $10, you will be making a little girl’s wish come true. They also make a wonderful loot bag for girl’s birthday parties – you can spend $5 on a bag full of, ahem, crap – imagine the look on the little faces when you present them with a Disney Sparkle Princess!

I came across this deal on Smart Canucks, and after some investigation, have decided it’s blog worthy for The Stocking Stuffer Series.

For a limited time at The Source, you can grab Roxy Reference 430 headphones for only $19.96, a savings of $60.03! (I’ve seen them everywhere for $79.99, so I do believe this is a pretty sweet deal.) To entice you further, you can enter code TS828 to receive an additional 10% off! Save the shipping costs and pick up at your local store.

Lightweight, compact, and easy-to-use the ROXY Reference 430 headphones are a great way to listen to your music. Equipped with a 3.5mm jack you can use these headphones with compatible MP3 players, cell phones, and iPods. They have padded cushions to give you long-lasting comfort and better background noise cancellation so you can concentrate on your music and not what’s happening around you. Keep your headphones ready for the next use by stashing them in the included pouch.

The headphones are available in green/blue or pink/orange. Please note that they may fit a little small based on the opinion of one reviewer: “Surprisingly good sound, especially the bass. However, it will squeeze your head like a walnut – maybe build for kids?”

Hmmm. Well, I’m a pin-head, so perhaps I should grab a set right away!!

SSS: $25 iTunes Gift Card for $20

Thanks to Soulla for passing along this juicy tip – a worthy addition to The Stocking Stuffer Series!

Until Thursday, October 21st, Walmart is selling $25 iTunes gift cards for just $20. They had a similar promo last year just before Christmas – looks like they had stocking stuffers on the mind too!

LOVE this gift for the tweens and teens on you list… if you can’t stuff Justin Bieber in your niece’s stocking, may as well let her download all 17 versions of his latest pop ballad.

Yay! Another addition to The Stocking Stuffer Series!

This one’s for Canadians only (sorry), but it’s a good one – TODAY only (October 14th) pay only $35 for $115 Worth of Keepsake Books from Photobook Canada. That’s a savings of 70%!

Preserve images in a portable and rodent-repelling format with today’s Toronto Groupon: for $35, you get $115 worth of custom-designed photo books from Photobook Canada. Like most plastic pineapples, this Groupon does not include tax or shipping.

Customers can transform digital photographs into elegant coffee-table books with the help of an intuitive photo-book designer program after providing an access code obtained during the purchase process. Photo books are available in several styles and sizes that include hardcover and softcover. Regular book prices range from $40–$250, with additional fees for upgrades and professional-series books. Each book is handmade with superior-quality imported materials such as linen, silk, leather, and dragon skin, which are available in a variety of striking colours.

This Groupon cannot be used toward tax or shipping.

Creating a Photobook is a lovely stocking stuffer, and here’s your chance to grab a super-high quality one for cheap. OR, you could also just place the Groupon in your favourite person’s stocking and let ‘em design a book of their choosing.

The Happy Meal: Friend or Foe?

I’ve been thinking of adding McDonald’s Happy Meal to The Stocking Stuffer Series, because, apparently, you can purchase it today and it’ll stay intact for Christmas Eve.

Say what?

According to Yahoo! News, a Happy Meal will resist decomposition for six months:

“Vladimir Lenin, King Tut and the McDonald’s Happy Meal: What do they all have in common? A shocking resistance to Mother Nature’s cycle of decomposition and biodegradability, apparently.

That’s the disturbing point brought home by the latest project of New York City-based artist and photographer Sally Davies, who bought a McDonald’s Happy Meal back in April and left it out in her kitchen to see how well it would hold up over time.

The results? “The only change that I can see is that it has become hard as a rock,” Davies told the U.K. Daily Mail.

She proceeded to photograph the Happy Meal each week and posted the pictures to Flickr to record the results of her experiment. Now, just over six months later, the Happy Meal has yet to even grow mold. She told the Daily Mail that “the food is plastic to the touch and has an acrylic sheen to it.”

Read the complete article here.

Here is the meal on Day 1:

And here it is on Day 180:

Reading the comments on the project were hilarious – some people couldn’t make out if this was a good or bad thing! Um… I’d say if the food can’t decompose on your shelf, your body may also have a hard time breaking it down. So my vote is it’s a bad thing.

BUT, they are pretty darned tasty! Can’t say this will stop me from grabbing one on the go. What about you? Surprised, or So What?
