I’ll admit that I didn’t request samples for this collection because frankly, the words “textured” and “matte” terrifies me. I am very much a “shiny” and “sparkly” kind of gal! Reviews for the OPI Liquid Sand shades have been mostly positive, though – with many polish experts citing a wearable texture that is both unique and interesting on the nails. I’ll have to take their word for it!

I have heard of the liquid sand and matte nail polishes. I’m not sure how I feel about them though. I like the look of them with a top coat, but that kind of defeats the purpose of them. I love shiny finishes, & love glitter!

Hadn’t heard of the technology.
Wear all types but gravitate to shiny or sparkly. Matte seems to require a more steady hand. Less forgiving application and chips seem more obvious.

I have heard about the Liquid Sand technology. I’m interested but I’m not sure how I would feel about the texture. As for what types of nail polish I like, I love matte and shiny AND sparkly – for me it is all dependent on the shade!

I got a pedicure on the weekend and tried the liquid sand because I was in a rush and it dries faster. It dried very fast and I liked it way more than I thought I would. I love it. It’s really pretty. I have the Get Your Number on my toes. I would love to own these.

Hello, Lena. These colours are too dark for me. I learned that the Mariah Carey by OPI nail lacquers contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush for the ultimate in application. These are scary ingredients that I will keep my eye out for in the future.
