It’s Pretty Spectacular: My ClaireaBella Bag!
A few weeks ago, I gushed about ClaireaBella - fully personalized, environmentally-friendly bags that are just SO you. I had been watching with envy as gals all over the UK toted along their fun, sparkly little numbers, and when Toxic Fox picked up the line for international customers, I almost fainted with anticipation.
(Okay, so that’s a little dramatic. However, I *may* have punched the air with glee.)
To refresh your memory, here’s what all the fuss is about:
First, they’re made from natural Jute fibres sourced from India, making each bag strong and environmentally friendly. Jute is 100% bio-degradable, recyclable and environmentally friendly. It is a natural fibre with a golden and silky shine.
Second, they are hand painted in the UK, so you’ll have to wait a while (about 2-3 weeks… SO worth the wait). Your bag will be handcrafted by a qualified team of UK artists, who will add Swarovski crystals (!!!), bows and a “hand made with love charm.” That is exactly what your ClaireaBella bag is… handmade with LOVE, exclusively for you!
All you need to do is choose the character that fits your own look and personality; your physical features (What color are your eyes and hair? What’s your favorite hair style? Is your hair long or short; curly or straight?) and lastly, include a name, nickname or phrase to truly personalize your bag.
Third, you will totally rock. Why? Because you’ve got a bangin’ personalized tote straight from the UK, girl! Forget the endless parade of designer shoppers and predictable beach totes. THIS bag will get you noticed.
And so I waited in anticipation for my personalized “Lena” Classic Jute Bag to arrive – certain that this bag would somehow be my best fashion acquisition of Summer 2012. (I wasn’t disappointed.)
Ladies and gents, introducing – my very own ClaireaBella!
I am absolutely THRILLED with the outcome! From the glittery embellishments to the sweet little rosettes, every inch of the bag is fabulous. And, did you notice my pretty blonde highlights and hazel eyes? The painter did not miss a thing. I have been toting my Classic Jute ClaireaBella bag with me everywhere over the past week and cannot tell you how many times I’ve been stopped, pulled aside – even mauled – for details about my bag. (The mauler was in her early 20′s and VERY eager to brand herself. Quite #creepola, actually.)
But, I suppose the million dollar question is… how uncanny is the resemblance? You be the judge!
The Large ClaireaBella retails for $79.99 – and in my humble opinion, is worth every penny. Yes, the bag is environmentally friendly and sturdy, and personalization always comes with a price tag. But, for the WOW FACTOR alone, I am definitely digging this piece and officially crowing it with “Fierce Fashion Find” status.
