Stella McCartney for babyGap and GapKids

It’s here! The Stella McCartney collection for babyGap and GapKids.

The exclusive styles are available in select stores for a limited time only – and based on the promotional info, Canadian stores will excluded from the distribution. BOO!

There is some hope if you don’t want to travel to the States – you can also purchase the clothing at gap.com. Now even though they won’t ship to Canada, they will accept Canadian credit cards and a US shipping address. So now would be a good time to inform that relative down south that you’re shipping a bunch of pint-size clothing to their home!

Most of the pieces straddle my spending comfort zone, while some are just ridiculously out of the ballpark. See that stylish band jacket in the upper left corner? “Only” $128.00 USD. I don’t know about you, but I can’t fathom spending that much money on something my son will outgrow so quickly. Still, if I had the money and the desire, that would be one sweet piece!

As predicted, the girl’s offerings are much more “haute” and trendy – and so irresistible, I’m almost glad that I don’t have to make that choice! Surely my husband would notice $368.00 spent at babyGap on our Visa.

If anyone hears rumours of the collection making it’s way up north, do tell!

Oh wow! I love some of the pieces, but $58 on a Fair Isle sweater?! That's pretty pricey. I can probably knit my own for half the price!

I'm with you guys – the pieces are too pricey, AND I'm wishing she would do a line for adult Gap!
