This is So Me
I was in Urban Barn last night – a veritable mecca of hip and trendy products – so it comes as no surprise that I spotted a wall clock that I simply HAD to have. It’s an Umbra design; 20″x20″, made of cork board with simply black lettering. It was definitely a splurge, but it was just sooo me, I couldn’t resist.
I was born late (literally). For the life of me, I can’t keep to a schedule. I try to seek out like-minded tardy folk, but instead have been blessed (and cursed) with friends and family who arrive on the dot of the scheduled time (Ing arrives early… grrr).
My husband is always ready on time. He sits in a chair and taunts me as I run around, trying to paint my toenails and apply mascara at the same time. My son wails in disgust as I lock him out of the bathroom so I can curl my hair in peace. It doesn’t help – whatever, I’m late anyways.
This is so me.
how did i know there was going to be a comment about my earliness?!?! I actually saw this a few months ago and thought of a few people…i think all my friends are tardy except Vic.

This clock is the coolest, so many places it can fit in our house…love it!
