Lena Loves… Pudgies (Contest!) CLOSED

There’s cute, and then there’s CUTE. I’m talking adorably, undeniably, wonderfully stinkin‘ cute. Pudgies are CUTE.

Made with 100% polyester fibres which are child-safe, machine washable and even safe for the dryer (want to giggle? Watch a Pudgie bounce around while drying), Pudgies are the perfect gift for kids of all ages! I actually purchased my own before Ryder came along, which is proof of their mass generational appeal.

Based out of Toronto, ON, the colourful and furry animals (which closely resemble shaggy bath mats and carpet) have been a staple for room accents and bed decorations in model homes and at trade shows. Pudgies have an uncanny knack for brightening up a room, and are sometimes more conversation piece than child’s toy. Of course, if you do happen to have a wee one around, there’ll be no doubt that they’re just as lovable to smaller folk – my little guy bounces on, squashes and attacks my Ladybug Pudgie on a daily basis.

In addition to the fun and chubby round Pudgies, there is also a selection of floppy-legged animals available – which are just as adorable, if that’s even possible. And for Christmas, be sure to grab a Santa Pudgie; the cutest St. Nick to ever slide down the chimney.

But I suppose the thing I love most about Pudgies is the fact that their fibres, after much abuse and several washes, still manage to stay intact without excessive shedding. And since I’m a huge advocate of turning to fellow parents for advice on toys, I have confidence in the quality, design and durability of the product. An excellent gift for birthdays, baby showers and just because, I dare you to walk by without squeezing or hugging one!

Here are some of my favourites (click to enlarge):

Available in a variety of sizes (S, M and L, depending on the design) they retail for $11.99, $24.99 and $34.99, respectively. Adorable and AffordableLena Approved!
