FREE Sample of Boss Orange

Remember when fragrance counters had an abundance of little samples to give away, allowing you to test out the scent for a few days before spending your hard earned money on a perfume? Not so much anymore. Instead, they hire sales associates to jump in front of you as you're strolling by, assaulting you with little paper cards infused with the scent du jour. And what happens if you'd like to try it out? They spritz you heavily and tell you to "walk around the mall" for a bit to see if it's your thing.

I've found there to be a few problems with this system, particularly:

1) If hubby decides he doesn't like a scent, he needs to rid himself of the offensive odour RIGHT AWAY - which means washing it off in a public restroom or simply leaving the mall to go home and shower. It does not make for a happy shopping excursion. (This is a personal beef - hopefully your husband is sane.)

2) Sometimes my chemistry takes a little longer than normal to catch up with the scent, and the fragrance may go too sweet or too sour several hours later. I hate having to make 5-6 trips to the mall in order to try out 5-6 different brands.

3) I like the convenience of trying out new perfumes when I want to, not because I happened to walk through the smelly zone in department stores. I don't need a paper sample, thank you very much. It's needless waste and often ends up tainting the contents of my purse. What I do need is more knowledgeable sales staff, who will be able to present me with options based on my likes and lifestyle - not simply offer up what's easy or on promo - "Do you like this one? No? Well this one's really popular. It's our best seller. No? Hmmm. How about this one - it comes with a bonus shower gel. No? Hmmm."

4) When you do ask for a sample, you'll most likely hear that they've run out. Sure. Those samples have been neatly distributed to family, friends, and fellow employees! (I have insider knowledge: my friend Tasha works at a fragrance counter).

BRING BACK FRAGRANCE SAMPLES!

Phew, that's quite a random rant for a Monday morning! Good news - Hugo Boss believes in the art of fragrance, and is willing to send you a sample of their new BOSS Orange.

The scent: BOSS Orange for women. A warm, complex and inviting fragrance that combines the uniquely liberating notes of Crisp Apple, White Flowers and, at its very soul, Vanilla and Sandalwood. They fuse to create a relaxed, personal scent you can wear with passion.

Want to try it out? (Hallelujah.) Click here for your FREE sample.
