Pantene Pro-V Expressions Part II (Expired)

As I received tons of great feedback from shameless product groupies, I thought I’d do a “Part II” for Pantene’s Expressions line.

The word on the street is: those who use it LOVE it, and those who haven’t tried it yet are running to grab them some sudsies! How awesome – soon we’ll all have shiny-disco-balls hair!

Now listen up: here’s a HUGE deal for a limited time only. Walmart (who else?) has the products on “Special Purchase” with BONUS sizes! While supplies last, you can get a shampoo (bonus 30% more) or conditioner (bonus 25% more) for only $3.50 each! Woot woot!

If you’ve already received your coupon, you can grab one of the products for only $1.50… and considering Shoppers is retailing the line for $8.99, this one should filed under extra-super-duper-fantabulous-find!

Holiday Party Goers Rejoice – 25% off at JACOB (Expired)

I’m certainly not a JACOB fanatic, but their holiday season lineup always seems to stop me in my tracks. From office to cocktail party, they make even the coziest classics look chic, and always manage to put a new spin on the “little black dress”.

Until November 9th, print this coupon and take 25% off the last ticketed price! Valid exclusively at JACOB, JACOB Connexion, and JACOB Lingerie stores in Canada.

Pantene Pro-V Expressions

I recently received samples of Pantene Pro-V Expressions Shampoo and Conditioner in the mail. Not one to pass up a change from the ordinary, I decided to give them a try on a particularly ordinary day.

The samples were for Highlighting Expressions Shampoo with Liquid Crystals, and Highlighting Expressions Conditioner. The conditioner was standard: creamy textured with a pleasant fragrance. As it performed as well as any other drugstore-level conditioner, I’ll concentrate my efforts on the shampoo (which was above-standard, in my humble opinion). It is worth noting that the products do not deposit colour and can be used for colour-treated or natural hair.

The first thing I noticed was that there were indeed “liquid crystals” in the shampoo, giving it a shiny, let’s-go-clubbing vibe. I was so mesmerized, it took a full minute before I got around to the application. When I finally started to lather, I was tempted with a clean, light, romantic fragrance. What a refreshing change from the expected tart green apple or mango-peach sensation which seems to plague drugstore varieties.

Finally, the results – shiny, full-bodied hair with a lingering fragrance for hours to come (hubby even buried his face in my hair – something he rarely does!) I’m not sure if it’s clever marketing or shameless vanity, but I actually felt like my highlights were shinier and brighter. Not quite Maria Menounos, but not quite bad either!

The shampoo and conditioner come in 6 varieties: Brunette, Blonde, Red, Highlighting, Midnight and Silver. They retail at Walmart for $6.93, but just in time for Christmas, Walmart has a bonus giftpack of the shampoo and conditioner together for $6.93. Combine it with the $2.00 off coupon found here and you can get both for $4.93! Can I get a woot woot for a fantabulous find!

Happy Birthday Hubby!

It’s my hubby’s 33rd! Here’s hoping the love of my life will be able to strike that pose in another 33 years… without having a coronary, of course. XOXO!
